Forensic Evaluation
So you want to be the next Dick Tracy? Hunting thiefs and finding murderers? Then this may be jsut the guide you were looking for...
So you want to be as cool as the guys on CSI huh? Well, you should probably start with forensic evaluation.
Forensic evaluation is used by using the skill on a dead corpse and it will tell you who killed it. Could possibly be useful for hunting PKs. But at GM level you can use it on people and you can tell if they are a thief or not, allowing you to kill them if you want.
To train forensic evaluation all you have to do is use it on corpses, any corpse. There used to be permanent corpses in random location around Britannia, but those do not exist on UO:hybrid so you will need to go find your own corpses to evaluate. I would recommend going into common dungeons and finding monsters people have killed. Just use it over and over on dead bodies from 0 to 100.
A lot of people use this skill on so called “Thief Hunters” because once you detect if they’re a thief you can outright kill them without them even knowing that you know they’re a thief. You get the element of surprise on your side, even if they’re in town limits. Plus you get the sweet title of “Detective”!
