Archery
So you want to be a master of the bow? Well heres the guide to show you how.
A guide to Gming Archery
Disclaimers: Two things you should know before attempting to Grandmaster this skill is that it works best of a secondary form of attacking because the bow is lower damage then most of the other weapon and that this skill has no speical move unlike the other weapons skills.
The only time Archery would be a viable form of primary attack would be if you plan to spend most of your time on a boat on the seas, however if you ever plan to step on land then make sure to back this skill up with magery or another higher damage weapon skill with a speical move.
Also the last thing to note is whatever you do please do not name your bow user "legolas" or any thing extremly simular like "legolos". Having a name like this will only make Hybrid UO players want to gank and pick on you extra hard.
Now that you know some helpful hints lets get started with Archery. To start archer one will need a bow which he can get from britain for 184 gp, along with about 1k golds worth of arrows. To grandmaster this skill all you have to do is equip your bow and go into war mode and attack something...but what will you attack? Well you have three options.
The first option is to make an another character and buy potions/ or train its magery skill and attack that character with your archer until the skill grandmasters making sure to heal before your "living dummy" dies.
The second option is you can ask a player to be your living dummy in exchange for items or gold, or perhaps even free if they are really nice.
There is also a Third option which is to use the Archery w/ Blade Spirits macro which is what most players do.
All of these options will have you grandmastered in a few hours, however if you don't like these choices then you can always opt for the last choice which requires you to go to any cemetary and target skeletons and ghouls from behind the gate. If you do it right the monsters won't be able to attack you and you can gain in archery moderately fast as you also collect gold and equipment from killing the monsters(which is a great way to easily pay for the amount of arrows you are using).
A word of caution though liches also roam the Cemetary and will attack you with range magic if they see you, so if they discover you quickly run off screen and run to a different side of the cemetary gate. Using these tactics you're have archery Grandmastered in no time.
